Schlafmütze zu #littlelouis

Sleepyhead to #littlelouis

The autumn is here! Unfortunately, little Louis is not very warm from his crown. So that he doesn't get too cold, he gets a sleepyhead. With a warm little head, it is also much easier to sleep.

This guide is very suitable for beginners.

Begin with the main color and start with approx. 42 chain stitches. The border is crocheted at a later point in time, which then lies more snugly on the head. It is therefore important that the chain of chain stitches is not crocheted too tightly.

Connect the chain of chain stitches into a circle and start the 1st round with 2 ch for height.

1st-6th                 Crochet 6 rounds htr. in each stitch of said rounds. (=42)

In the 7th round, the openings for the ears are left out. Note that the distance between the ears can vary. I attached the ears very close together. So 2 htr is enough for me for the space in between. If it's not enough for you, adjust this distance.

7th:                    16 htr, 4 ch, 2 htr, 4 ch, 16 htr. (=42)

8th - 9th                (2 rounds) hdc. (=42)

Put the #littlelouis hat on and make sure everything fits well.

10. 6x *5 htr, htr dec* (=36)

The next 6 decreases should be on the exact opposite side of the notches. Adjust this if necessary.

11. 4x * htr dec.*, 24 htr., 2x * htr dec.* (=30)

12-13             (2 rounds) hdc. (30)

14th:                  3x * 8 htr., htr.-dec.* (=27)

15-16:            (2 rounds) hdc. (=27)

17th:                  3x * 7 htr., htr.-dec.* (=24)

18-19:            (2 rounds) hdc. (=24)

20th:                  3x * 6 htr., htr.-dec.* (=21)

21-22:            (2 rounds) hdc. (=21)

23rd:                  3x * 5 htr., htr.-dec.* (=18)

24-25:            (2 rounds) hdc. (=18)

26th:                  3x * 4 htr., htr.-dec.* (=15)

27-28:            (2 rounds) hdc. (=15)

29th:                  3x * 3 htr., htr.-dec.* (=12)

30th:                  3x * 2 htr., htr.-dec.* (=9)

31st:                  (1 round) hdc. (=9)

32nd:                  3x * 1 htr., htr.-dec.* (=6)

33rd:                  (1 round) hdc. (=6)

Finish the round by picking up the outer loops of the last round with a needle and pulling them together.

Now pick up the thread for the border and crochet a round of slip stitches in the chain stitch chain.

Sew all threads.

For that special something, sew on a bobble, a pearl or a bell at the top.

The sleepyhead for your favorite rabbit is ready!

I hope you enjoyed the tutorial and making the sleepyhead.

I would be happy to see a photo of it. Link your photo to @_ma_lea_ and #maleaboutique on Instagram or Facebook.
