INFO BOX
Abbreviations:
htr.: half double crochet
Hmgl.: Back loop
You need:
- Wool: Rico Baby Cotton Soft dk or similar (50 g/125 m)
- Scissors, sewing needle, crochet hook approx. 2.5
- Hair tie with a diameter of approx. 5.5 cm
This guide is very suitable for beginners.
It should be crocheted loosely.
Crochet about 30 chain stitches and join them around your hair tie to form a circle.
Now you work about 68 rounds of htr. only in hmgl
After 3-4 rounds, sew up the starting thread.
You've made enough rounds when you're tightening your hair tie properly and your rounds are still falling loose.
Your scrunchie will be even « scrunchier » if you sew it together a little twisted.
Sew the thread by only going into the Hmgl. prick
...and your summer highlight is ready, have fun imitating it!
