The last round (20th) of your tree is crocheted exclusively into the front loops . Note that the stitches written in the () are crocheted into one stitch each.
20. | 12x *sc, (hdc, dc), (dc, hdc), dc* |
Cut the thread and sew it invisibly inside the tree.
Rounds 3, 9 and 15 are also decorated with ruffles. Pick up the thread of your tree again and crochet the 20th round into the respective front loops of said rounds.
Complete the ruffle of rounds 3 and 15 at the end of the round with 1 additional sc so that you get 4 or 10 arches respectively.
Complete the ruffle of round 9 at the end of the round with 2 additional sc so that you have 7 arches.
Sew all other threads invisibly as well.
Now you crochet your Christmas ball.
Start with your desired color and a yarn ring of 6 sc.
Don't forget to add your little wooden ball after the 6th round!
Then just carry on crocheting and wrap the ball with your yarn. To make it easier for you, you can also crochet rounds 7 and 8 into the front loop only. Make sure that the hole in the ball remains nicely placed in the middle.

Close the opening by pulling your darning needle through the outer loops of the last round.
