Mini Pilzchen

Mini mushrooms

Autumn is here!

Just before Halloween, I'd like to introduce you to the mini mushrooms in my new blog post. I try to decorate the small window in the entryway a little bit according to the season. This year, it's autumn with the mini mushrooms. If you also like to decorate according to the season, then take advantage of this opportunity. Feel free to leave me feedback and let me know if you liked the freebie.

You can find different sizes, colors and materials for making in my shop.

And here's how it works:

Leftover red, orange, or brown cotton yarn for the hat, leftover beige or white cotton yarn for the bulb, embroidery thread or leftover green for decoration, crochet hook size 2.5 or adjusted to your needs, blunt needle, scissors.

tuber

Start with the tuber and begin with a yarn ring of 6 sc.

1. 6x *concentrated* 12
2. 6x *1 sc, inc* 18
3. 9x *1 sc, inc* 27
4th-7th (4 rounds) *sc* 27
8. 3x *7 sc, dec* 24
9. 6x *2 sc, dec* 18
10. (1 round) *sc* 18
11. 3x *4 sc, dec* 15

Don’t forget to stuff the tuber tightly with stuffing.

12. 3x *3 sc, dec* 12
13. 3x *2 sc, dec* 9
14. 9x *concealed* 18
15. 9x *1 sc, inc* 27
16. (1 round) *sc* 27
17. 9x *2 sc, inc* 36
18. 6x * 5 sc, inc.* 42

Stuff the tuber again with stuffing until the 18th round.

Cut the thread to a length of about 40 cm so that you can sew the hat and the tuber together later.

finish

Sew the thread from the hat inside.

Sew the visible loops from the respective hat rounds Carefully tie the two pieces together using the end thread of the bulb. Leave a small opening to add a little (or almost none) of the stuffing to the hollow space. Sew the thread inside the bulb.

Decorate the tuber with grass blades using irregular lines from the thread ring.

Done! I also recorded a reel on Instagram, so feel free to check it out if you like.

All love
